These Terms and Conditions govern your use of ctcbookworld.com and every order placed with CTC Book World Pvt. Ltd., a notebook, school diary, register and children's book manufacturer, printer and exporter based in New Delhi and Kundli (Haryana), India, in business since 1985 and ISO 9001:2015 certified. By using this website, sending an enquiry or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Which Terms Apply to Your Order?

Who Are We?

This website is owned and operated by CTC Book World Pvt. Ltd. (CIN: U21099DL2021PTC380165), registered office at G-5B, Sant Nagar Extension, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi - 110018, India. "We", "us" and "our" mean CTC Book World Pvt. Ltd. "You" means any visitor, registered user or buyer.

Using This Website

• You must be at least 18 years old, or use the website under the supervision of a parent, guardian or your institution.
• Information you give us (name, address, phone, email, GST number) must be correct and current.
• You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for orders placed from your account.
• You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, copy its content in bulk, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Product Information

We try to show every product accurately, including size, page count, ruling, paper and cover. Please note:

• Colours on screen can differ slightly from the printed product because of display settings and printing processes.
• Cover designs of stock notebooks may change from batch to batch; where a product ships in assorted designs this is stated on the product page.
• Minor variations in paper shade, weight and trimming size that are normal in paper manufacturing are not treated as defects.
• Product availability can change without notice. If an ordered item is unavailable we will inform you and offer a replacement or refund.

Online Orders

• An order placed on the website is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it by email, message or dispatch.
• We may decline or cancel an order in case of a pricing or listing error, stock shortage, incomplete address or suspected misuse. Any amount already paid for a cancelled order is refunded in full.
• You may cancel a stock-product order before it is dispatched by writing to info@ctcbookworld.com with your Order ID.

Prices and Payment

• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless a quotation states another currency. Taxes are charged as applicable under Indian law and are shown at checkout or in the quotation.
• Online payments are processed through our payment gateway partner. Card, UPI and net banking details are entered on the gateway's secure page and are not stored by us.
• Prices on the website can change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of your order or in your written quotation is the price that applies to that order.
• Bulk, institutional and export prices are given by written quotation and are valid for the period stated in it.

Bulk and Institutional Orders

Orders from schools, school chains, institutions, corporates, NGOs, government buyers and distributors are confirmed through a written quotation or proforma invoice. The quantity, specification, price, payment terms and delivery schedule written in that document apply to the order. Where the quotation and these terms differ, the quotation applies.

Customised and Private Label Orders

Customised school notebooks, school diaries, report cards, registers and all OEM, ODM and private label products are made specifically for one customer, so the following apply:

• Proof approval: production starts only after you approve the final proof in writing. Please check spellings, logos, colours, ruling and page count carefully; errors approved in the proof are the customer's responsibility.
• Advance payment: custom orders need an advance as stated in the quotation before production begins.
• Cancellation: once the proof is approved and production has started, a custom order cannot be cancelled or changed.
• Returns: custom-made products cannot be returned or resold by us, so they are accepted back only for a manufacturing defect or a mismatch with the approved proof.
• Quantity: printing and binding involve some process variation, so the delivered quantity can differ slightly from the ordered quantity. Any tolerance is stated in the quotation and you are billed for the quantity actually delivered.
• Delivery dates: production time is counted from the date of proof approval and receipt of advance, whichever is later.

Artwork and Intellectual Property

• Your material: when you send us a logo, school name, brand name or design, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. You remain its owner. If a third party makes a claim over material you supplied, that claim is your responsibility.
• Our material: the CTC Book World name and logo, the Seven Days brand, our children's book titles, text, illustrations, cover designs, product photographs and website content belong to CTC Book World Pvt. Ltd. They may not be copied, reprinted or reproduced without our written permission.
• We may decline to print material that is unlawful, offensive or infringes another party's rights.

Shipping and Delivery

Dispatch times, delivery times and shipping charges for India and international orders are set out in our Shipping and Return Policy. Delivery dates are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by courier or transport companies, incorrect addresses, customs clearance or events outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

For stock products we accept returns and exchanges for defective, damaged or incorrect items reported within 7 days of delivery, as described in our Shipping and Return Policy. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Please check your parcel on delivery and share photographs of any damage when you raise a request.

Export Orders

We supply buyers in India, Nepal, USA, Canada, UK, Europe, UAE, Gulf, Africa and Afghanistan. For orders outside India:

• Price, currency, delivery term and payment term are those written in the proforma invoice.
• Import duties, taxes, customs clearance and local compliance in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility unless the proforma invoice states otherwise.
• Transit time depends on the shipping line, courier and customs authorities and is an estimate only.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as loss of profit, business or opportunity. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under Indian consumer protection law.

Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, strikes, transport disruption, shortage of paper or raw material, power failure, government action or epidemic.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any complaint directly and in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page on the date of your order applies to that order.
